New Year New Me

Let's Do This...

So obviously none of us are gigantic whales.

But I know that I am not happy with the way my pants are fitting (or not fitting).

This competition is not meant to be just a contest,
but more of a journey to create a better version of ourselves.

I feel like I have a long road ahead of me because it's not just my pants that I need to fit into, I need to completely transform the guy that snores on the other end of my couch every night. Not a cute snore, but a full on creepy snore that makes me wonder if he's going to be alive in the morning. Diabetes is a serious condition and if I don't fix him nobody will. Not only do I hope to (once again) cure him of diabetes, but make us both healthier in the process.

Starting January 1st we will all weigh in and take a picture of the scale.

Print it out, save it on your iphone, do whatever the heck you want but do NOT lose it - without proof of your initial weigh-in you will not be able to win the competition. I am going to print mine and put it away for safe keeping (even though I know I will not forget the number that has been haunting my dreams for the past year).

So that's it.

There are no more rules to the contest - just eat better and exercise. It seems simple, huh?

Well if it was that easy then we would all be strutting around in our size 2's
(shut up Shann, nobody asked you).

We all have until June 1st to lose as much as we can and then we will figure out who lost the biggest percentage of body weight.  I know we all have different amounts of weight to lose and everyone has their own ways of doing it. The purpose of the contest is to help motivate each other and keep each other on track.

Make sure you download Instagram (it's free) so we can follow each other's pictures to share new ideas or motivate each other.

Make sure to follow each other so we can make sure every one is staying on track!

  1. Is there a way for the fitness app to find info automatically for the products we eat?

    1. I love your name! LOL Yes there is! If you are adding a food item to your diary and type your food into the search bar you should be able to find all the food you are looking for! Also, once you find it and add it to your diary once, it remembers your previous items and it will pop up next time you are adding more entries :)
